Hale High School
The 2021 Bond for Tulsa Public Schools will bring some exciting changes for students, teachers, and support professionals at Hale High School! The proposed bond package includes:
- Redesigning the cafeteria into a flexible, comfortable, multi-use space for students, teachers, and support professionals;
- Replacement of the school’s practice field turf, and athletic equipment and uniforms for students;
- Upgrades to the auditorium lighting and sound system, new stage curtains, and repainting;
- Security and accessibility upgrades at the school’s main entrance;
- ADA-accessibility improvements in school restrooms and at building exits;
- Full replacement of the HVAC system support by CARES Act federal funding;
- Parking lot resurfacing and improvements to exterior lighting; and
- Remodels for the school’s science labs and investments in STEM equipment.
The 2021 Bond will also fund an indoor soccer facility and practice gym for our student athletes. This new space will be available for district and community teams to schedule and use outside of the school day. In addition to locker rooms and athletic practice and training spaces, the facility will include a student union space for Hale students to safely gather for academic and social activities.
