This is my 2nd year teaching for Tulsa Public Schools. My previous teaching experience includes 7 years teaching Special Education for Lawton Public Schools. I have worked with students in grade 4-12 th. I currently teach English grades 9-12.  I hold a Bacehlor's of Arts degree from Cameron University in Radio Television with a minor in Speech Communications. My first love is the news and television production, but the difference I can make in a child's life has led me into education.

I am proud to say I am a Military Brat! I have had the opportunity to visit and live in different countries; including Germany and France, Italy, and Spain. However, I am not fluent in any of those languages! I believe my diverse cultural upbringing has allowed me to successfully work with students and families from various ethnicities.

I have been married for 8 years and we have a pre-school son, Blake, an infant daughter, Jaslyn and a third boy on the way. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, decorating and shopping every once in awhile! I would love to travel the world one day!

My teaching Philosophy includes: All children can learn and deserve to learn-even if it is not on the same day or in the same way.
