Hello My Name Is...

Dee Ann Gibbons

I have taught Family and Consumer Sciences for 15 years. 
This is my third year to teach at Hale.  
I teach Culinary Basics. 
Before I taught in Tulsa Public Schools I was a Diaconal Minister of Education in the United Methodist Church and an Early Childhood Educator.  Because of my background I sometimes teach in unconventional ways.

FCCLA (Family Career and Community Learders of America)
This is our FACS student organization.
If you have ever taken a FACS class you are eligible to join.
The other Culinary teachers and I are the sponsors.

Personally - I am a Hale graduate, have been married for 35 years to my high school sweetheart, and have two grown children.

I love teaching and being at Hale and look forward to getting to know all my students.
